Overview
Open Nano Banana uses credit-based and subscription-based billing for AI generation workflows. This policy explains how refund requests are reviewed, how failed generation jobs are handled, and how to contact us about billing questions.
Failed Generation Jobs
If a generation task fails because of a service-side error, credits may be returned automatically according to the product logic configured for the service. If credits are not returned and you believe the failure was not caused by your prompt, uploaded file, or account settings, contact support with the task ID.
Eligible Refund Requests
Refund requests may be considered when:
- A payment was duplicated by mistake.
- A paid feature was not delivered because of a verified service-side issue.
- Credits were consumed by a failed task and were not automatically restored.
- A billing error can be verified from our payment records.
Usually Not Refundable
The following are generally not refundable:
- Credits already used for completed generation jobs.
- Results that were successfully generated but do not match subjective creative preference.
- Account issues caused by violating the Terms of Service.
- Subscription periods or credit packs that have already been substantially used.
Subscriptions and Cancellation
You can cancel a subscription from the billing area when available. Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not automatically refund the current billing period unless required by law or approved by support after review.
How To Request a Refund
Email support@opennanobanana.org and include:
- Your account email address.
- The order ID or payment receipt.
- The generation task ID, if relevant.
- A short explanation of the issue.
We may ask for additional information to verify the request.
